Bronze Member Username: Romesnow101Post Number: 29 Registered: Oct-06 | nah Im 16 yrs old and i already blew a bunch of money on my last system, I rather save the 50 and get it a little used and be able to buy my subs so i can putit all in next weekend. Also is that GTO1201.1 that much better then the panasonic CY-PA2003U when I could get the Panisonic new for 100 and the JBL new for 300???? |
Gold Member Username: AdddisorderWest palm, Florida Post Number: 1483 Registered: Jan-06 | i would never run a panasonice amp, jbl makes solid amps so theyer worth it |
Gold Member Username: JuliobSanto DomingoDominican Re... Post Number: 3096 Registered: Dec-05 | panasonic HUs are kinda bad and that's the best thing they do, so you figure it out... buy the JBL, you won't regret it |
Bronze Member Username: Romesnow101Post Number: 30 Registered: Oct-06 | Do you guys think that the JBL BP120.1 amp would power my 2 12's cerwin vega v max subs??? There rms is 600 a peice. |
Bronze Member Username: Romesnow101Post Number: 31 Registered: Oct-06 | juliob what do u think about the JBL Bp1200.1 Subwoofer Amp instead of the gto1201.1????? |
Gold Member Username: JuliobSanto DomingoDominican Re... Post Number: 3097 Registered: Dec-05 | better choice, matt dope will agree with me. |
Bronze Member Username: Romesnow101Post Number: 32 Registered: Oct-06 | which is a better choice? |

Bronze Member Username: Romesnow101Post Number: 34 Registered: Oct-06 | Anyone? help? |
Gold Member Username: JuliobSanto DomingoDominican Re... Post Number: 3106 Registered: Dec-05 | the BP is a better choice and brad what's the Rms rating on those comps, put a boss amp there lol! |
Bronze Member Username: Romesnow101Post Number: 36 Registered: Oct-06 | I think they are 300 RMS |
Bronze Member Username: Romesnow101Post Number: 37 Registered: Oct-06 | yo juliob should i get the 2 or 4 ohm subs with the BP amp? |
Bronze Member Username: Romesnow101Post Number: 39 Registered: Oct-06 | Sorry they are 175 watts RMS for sure |
Bronze Member Username: Romesnow101Post Number: 40 Registered: Oct-06 | soory the speaks put out 175 watts RMS for sure |
Bronze Member Username: Romesnow101Post Number: 42 Registered: Oct-06 | what rms should i look at then for a boss amp at 4 ohms? would it be 175 because thats what my speakers are rated at, or no??? |
Gold Member Username: JuliobSanto DomingoDominican Re... Post Number: 3124 Registered: Dec-05 | Bro the BP you should run it at 4 ohm cuz you might blow those subs if you power them with 600w rms. I was kidding about the boss amp hehe lol! but you can try one, you just need around 80-100w rms at 4 ohms, or even 50w... they just need an amp hehe. Try getting one of those 600x4 amps made by boss. |
