Sunday, October 22, 2006 - 04:14 GMT IMO if you listened to it and you thought it was nice. Then its good enough for you. But depending on price, which I don't know the price and exact model your talking about, we can get you better quality stuff if you wish depending on whats your budget.

Sunday, October 22, 2006 - 14:55 GMT I was a big fan of all Kenwood products at one point, I still buy Kenwood HU but thats it. I hate the amps now, they just dont last.

Monday, October 23, 2006 - 01:40 GMT Mine had power supply problems, but thats caused I zaped the case with the Positve. I also had some caps replaced to higher value one. Its not the worst amp, but its not the best either. I would take the X811 over the X812 too. Nad it does put out some decent power. Ive benched 920wrms unclipped out of mine at 1 ohm

Monday, October 23, 2006 - 03:14 GMT i have the x889 head unit and the x501 4 ch. and the x 401 mono that will handle 1/2 ohm load. ive never had a problem with these amps and they where bought in 1999
