I need help to record a cable show onto VHS with a SV 2000 VCR

I have a SV 2000 VCR and want to record a cable show onto a VHS tape. I have lost my instruction manual and havent used a VCR in years. Can anyone guide me through the steps on how to record a show with this VCR? Thank you.
