Ok, recently i was putting in the 2 codes whenever they go out an new ones come out. I was putting the codes in with my remote control. Everything was working fine - until i tried putting in the code last week. I heard someone saying to switch off Auto roll aand enter in the keys -- what is Auto Role? Believe me - i don't even know what you'll are talking about when you mention changing bin and all that. Why can't i just enter the keys in like how i do all the time. What i'm i suppose to do - turn Auto roll off and then enter the key code in with my romote control???? Please help me -- i really need to catch some other channels other than just the local stations. If this is what i should do - please tell me hoe to turn the Auto Role off. Please help! |

I did what you said - went to parental control - then enter second pin (oooo) - then went down to the bottom of the page - i saw one thing at the bottom saying key emu (that is what i turned off)- did i do it correct. Sorry i did not see anything saying auto option. I scrolled back up to set default key - press ok, went to nagravision and press ok -- then i went to dish net work -- scroll down -- press twice to get nagravission 2 ... entered the key --- save -- went back up and scroll to the right -- entered the next set of keys -- press save as before then exit out. Nothing happen. Only local keys in. I know you say go to the bottom of the page and press auto option - i don't see that. Please help! Do i have to do a blind scan too? |

When i first got this receiver a gentleman use to always put in the codes for everyone. then we all got to find out how to enter the keys - so it was no need to take it back to him since we found out how to enter the keys ourselves. I know sometime in the last 3 weeks someone entered the keys in and di a blind scan. We watched tv ok until - the code went out again. Now for the past last week -- everytime i put in the keys and save them - nothing happening. When i go out i still see scamble or bad channel -- then when i go backto check the codes -- the old code is still there? What you'll think going on. I mentioned to David bfore that my receiver is a fortec Ultra - but after it came about to enter 2 set of keys - this gentleman put the pansat program on the Fortec Ultra. Hope i explained it right. Sorry - i am a rookie --- i always hear persons speak of bin and all that - but i don't have a clue as to what to do. Can someone please Help me. |

Two weeks ago i knew nothing i kept reading and reading then i tried to put a bin in guess i did it and you can to . click on menue and system information and that will tell you what bin you have so people can help you better . But if you go to dsstester and download the latest bin . You have to have winzip to open it if you don't have winzip go to winzip .... and download the trial version and you can download the loaders . and believe me it is not that hard when it goes right . Hang in there we will get it |

How can i be sure which pansat program i have??? example .. 2500, 2700 etc. etc. I just usually go with what persons say about the pansat 2500. Someone please tell me how to go about getting my satellite back up and running! I would appreciate it greatly. Do you'll think it would be best that i take the receiver back to the guy who use to deal with it - or can i do something by myself? |

I know that I most likely need a new bin but I dont know how to find out what one I have now and what I need to do to get a new one. I have been reading these posts since june when the tv went down. I dont know what I am doing really. My nagra2 is set at 0001 I can not change it to 0101 or what ever i need and I can only ever enter the one set of numbers that are active not both sets. BTW...that X-87BL(87 = Pansat 2700 bins)# 279 bin dated 061011 (2006-Oct-11th day)is the most current working with AUTOROLL which will enterr BOTH the Dishnet and Bev keys automatically for U (may take 1 hour and go to 1000%), if U turn ON the "autoroll" feature in your receiver.. BTW...FOR ALL RECEIVERS (Viewsat, Pansat, C*oolsat, Fortec, Clones, etc)...read this below GET all factory bins...latest/current bins.....manual and guides....loaders..key finder Utilities (Key ripper, key master, key grabber and others) JUST go here and NO NEED TO REGISTER to download files!...just remove the * in the .c*om ...this is a new feature that dsscommunity has added to their new forums.. |

Honestly I am a pansat 2500a man but I got this box real cheap so I would like to see if it works or not, but first I need to know how to load a bin file into it.
