Dear all, I just bought a Sony DCR-DVD 105, I rec some dvd's (dvd-R) and what I want to do is to put them all together in a file (if possible) in my pc but at the same time to edit them (for example cut some scenes, put some titles etc). I tried to do this by using Microsoft Movie Maker but it cannot regongised the format of the files in the dvd-r (MPEG). What I tried was to rip the file, the Micr. Movie Maker regognised the file but the quality is extremely low! Can anyone help on these issues. How i can do all these but having the primary quality of the dvd?
Berny, I installed the Adobe Premiere. I am trying to import any file from the dvd (mini) I have record with the sony but the S/W cannot find any file (probably cannot regognize the specific format??). What I can do?? i need to gather 6 mini dvd's probably to one but having done some editings.
Insert the DVD into the DVD-ROM drive of the computer. On the computer desktop, click the Start button and then click My Computer. NOTE: If available, you can double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop instead.
In the My Computer window, right-click the DVD Drive icon, then click Open. Right-click the appropriate folder and then click Copy.
For still images, right-click the DCIM folder. For movie files, right-click the VIDEO_TS folder.
Right-click on the desktop and then click Paste. NOTE: The folder and all the contents in the folder will be copied to the desktop of the computer.
On the computer desktop, right-click the newly copied folder and then click Rename. Type a new name for the folder. Press the ENTER key on the keyboard.
I have already Finalize the disc in the camcoder. I follow exactly what you wrote but as it I was expected that didin't change the situation. Adobe still cannot see anything.Do I have anything additional after these steps?? Thannk you very much for your replies and your time.
Hi All, I have a sony camcorder DCR-DVD201. It records the media to a DVD-R/RW disc. The product was shipped along with its USB driver and Imagemixer Version1.5 for Sony DVD software.
Unfortunately i lost the s/w CD and adding to it my harddisk also crashed. Can someone please let me know where i can get this software from?
Any pointer's on this would be helpful. Thanks Anand Vardhan
