New member Username: ChicomanPost Number: 2 Registered: Oct-06 | Hey Sunny, I have been reading for about 2 hours and could not find a guide on how to with the Fortec. I have a different receiver and have loaded keys for a while now but couldn't find any info on this other one other than that it should be the same as the pansat 2500. Been looking for the pansat 2500 and not a post I could find on instruction. I have been following this forum for a while now and know better than to ask before reading but as I say just couldn't find the info I need it. |

Blacklist loader guide.. -The first thing you need to do is to disconnect your stb from the lnb cable. Turn off the switch on the back of the stb. Connect your straight thru serial cable from your computer to the stb. Load Blacklist Loader. Make sure you specify the correct port and then browse for the correct bin.Right now there in nothing for fortec.. Once you have everything ready, turn on the switch on the back of stb. As soon as the first bar appears on the stb, click the load button in BL Loader. The bin should start loading at this point. It will take a couple of minutes. Don't touch anything until the process is complete, your STB should then finish booting and display a channel number or if not previously set up it will show "on". You can then turn it off and disconnect the serial cable and reconnect to your lnb and tv. Remember, timing is critical in the process, if you don't get it right the first time, keep trying. You will eventualy get it right |

New member Username: Alex_matosArecibo, Puerto rico Post Number: 1 Registered: Jun-06 | Hi everybody, My name is ALex, i'm a little desperate for while. I have a Fortec Ultra, never work with it, but I worked with Digiwave and Pansat. My problem is that I bought a cable RS-232, not null, should be straight, I download the blacklist loader and the bin, for Fortec Lifetime Ultra, everytime I try to download the bin into the Fortec I received the message "write Failed" retry, and get nothing plus the Keys in the Fortec are 16 digits, compare to the other ones that are 32 digits keys for pansat and digiwave, can somebody be kind to explain to me what I'm doing wrong and how to fixed it , I want to learn and I'll be really grateful. ALex |
