my friend wants to get a system. he wanted to go all out with a 12in btl and a 3000wrms mmats amp. but to do that he'd have to get yellow top's and a new alt. instead he wants to get something that will be extremely loud on 1000wrms. ive narrowed it down to a 15in fiq or a 12in btl. what would get loudest. space isnt a problem either, he has a 99 jeep cherokee.
yeah i thought of that but still the price difference is a lot the btl 12in is 449 fully loaded and the 15in q is 279. so i think we're goin with the q. thanks
Well.. if your trying to get loud its not going to be cheap.. The Q will get plenty loud and sound great but it won't get as loud as the BTL.. I'd just save the money and get what he wanted instead of buying something now and end up changing it later. Both are great subs.. won't be disappointed.. Just make sure the box is built well and made to specs.
the q is great with 1000 watts! heck, work with the budget! try any sub from fi. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED! have fun with the install... DIYers rule!
