Friday, October 06, 2006 - 16:25 GMT I just bought 2 new 12" subs and the specs are 1100w rms, 30Hz-500Hz, Dual 4 ohms, 2 Ohms or 8 Ohms operation. What would be a good amp to go along with these subs?

Friday, October 06, 2006 - 16:40 GMT its a dual 4 ohm and it can be wired to 2 or 8 ohms. a kicker zx1000 would be a decent choice.

Friday, October 06, 2006 - 17:06 GMT no the zx is only rated at 2ohms, you need a 1 ohmstable or a 2 channel amp bridged. ****what brand sub are you running?

Friday, October 06, 2006 - 22:02 GMT you need a 2200w rms amp at 1 ohm. I don't think you can find an amp for 200$ The best for the budget would be PA a3000db

Saturday, October 07, 2006 - 05:14 GMT just get a orion 2500d or a kicker 2500.1 the extra 300 watts is so minimal at that amount of power it wouldnt even be noticable.
