The same group also makes Scan Speak, fyi - Alpine F1 components are made by Scan Speak and they cost about 10x the price of polyglass. Scan Speak also makes speakers for Genesis (their top line), those components also cost above $4000. So yes Peerless would be better than polyglass. Focals are far from my favorite |

The only thing is - you would have to make your own passive x-overs or go active. Not too complicated to do if you have say Alpine CDA 7998 and 2 2ch amps. |
