Have you tried UNZIPPING the files. I just learned how to flash my Sonicview last week and my Pansat 2700 today, all I had to do was unzip the files. What's your problem? More details!

I have unzipped the files. When I have tried using both the blacklist updater 1.4 and the loader that came with the bin. When the first LED flashes press download or write bin. It stays at 0%. For the blacklist loader it says "error" or failed. And for the loader that came with the bin, it just stays at 0%. So yeah that's my situation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, make sure you're not using the same cable as the one you use for the 2500.

but it's a 9 pin cable, DBS Female ends. The cables fine cuz i just went to my friend's house to test on his clone 2500 by loading an old bin. It worked. But yeah i think this cable's fine for 2700. But yeah, why can't i not use the same cable for 2500 and 2700?

Both cables look the same but the wiring inside of the cable has different connections from pin to pin.

You need a null-modem cable. It should say "null-modem" on the cable, otherwise it's a straight-thru.

thanks man. i'm gonna go buy one right now. O one more thing. When I load the bin, do I have to wait for the first LED to light up and then I can load? or do I just load it as soon as it says "ON"? Thanks again.

I have the receiver off first, when ready to transfer data. Click download then turn on your STB, data should transfer.

With Pansats, I just leave the receiver on then open and run my loader. Viewsat loaders need to have the receiver toggled from "off" to "on".
