LK: What do you think of Newsat? Does it surpass Viewsat/Sonicview and are there any negative points?
A detailed answer would be greatly appreciate by many coming to this forum.
Thanks.

FYI...there is Neusat and Neosat which are completely different receivers and useage...there is NO "newsat" as U write!

So why don't U educate us on the "NEWSAT" since U are so full of information and have a need to reply to EVERY post here as some type of self appointed technical and authority " figure (and being a sarcastic punk with me)...hell I know my limits, and don't go looking for trouble, but then again I grew up many years ago!...someday U will be an adult and respected, IF U change your ways!

LK means Neosat (internet connection stb).

We are still waiting for a new bin file for the Neusat as well as Pansat, FLU, and others...

The question remains partly answered. LK knows that he made a typo error and I made a typo error. My question was prompted by this post yesterday at dssrookies site.

"9/12/06--> Working Temp Fix: Neosat iPro 1000 (w/ Internet Key Sharing - IKS) [internet conn. req.]"

I am sure the answer is simple as to why this receiver should not deserve much mention. I do not have any interest in that company, nor am I trying to use or promote it in any way. I just want to be able to answer honestly and in a knowledgeable way when I get questioned.

bridgeburner:
I asked a question of LK and when Peter and you pointed out the typo error, I acknowledged the error. I did not give any opinion on this receiver. I have further explained that I am trying to answer somebody. I had recommended to him a Sonicview or a Viewsat and he asked me about this receiver quoting that particular post in dssrookies. I did enough research to confirm that such a post existed, but have not replied to him yet.
So, if you have the answer, please let us have it.
I see Peter's good news update about the news on BINs and the question might soon become redundant.

What you just said, is that LK's typo is a typo and my typo is an unforgiveable crime.

no one knows what your 'typo' was attempting to say "newsat is an unknown"

Yes thats an interesting well known English language truth that U posted S Dot..

BTW...I had NO typo above when I said fix for the Neusat...I was referring to a new "autoroll" fix released 18 Sept to get locals but without manually inputting keys, similiar to what pansat had done with their older bins and the previous June ECM..

Captiveworks has some sort of "odd" fix too now for the 600..I'm not saying its a cardless TRUE fix, but a fix that does work using old bin and this new fix with current keys...U want more info about it, read at dsscommunity.c*m /forums "captive works " area..
