You haven't posted much detail. Echo 8? Echo 1? I had a problem with VS ext. no epg when I did a blind scan. I think my signal strength & Quality are too low. 70 70. I did a factory default reloaded the bin but this time I selected the Echo 8,10 sat and did a Sat Scan. I have now all channels & EPG.
Reset your receiver to factory default. Menu -> Installation -> Factory Default Do this 3 times to be sure that all has been cleared out ... it's like writing over data on a hard drive ... the first time does not always delete old information. This clears out your programmed satellites, channels and favorites but it will not clear out your last installed *.PGM file. Edit TP list and delete all except 12239 for 119 and 12224 for 91 and 110 Menu -> Installation -> Channel Scan -> Down Arrow -> Down Arrow -> OK See attachment 1
Set your antenna settings for your satellites. Menu -> Installation -> Antenna Setup Verify that you have the correct satellite. The name in the header and on the first line must be identical. Turn off the LNB for all satellites except the one that you are going to scan. This keeps your STB from getting duplicates. Use F1 to scan. Don't use Blind Scan unless you are going to use true FTA. Repeat this process for all your satellites. When complete, remember to turn on LNB for all satellites that you are picking up. See attachment 2
Turn on your features (Auto Roll, Auto TP and set guide to 24 hours) Set your time variance.
Now, delete all the channels that you will not want. I think that the fewer channels you keep, the more memory is freed up for guide data. Don't quote me on this but it just makes sense to me. Menu -> Edit Channels HINT: By pressing the SAT button on your remote, you can narrow the channels to one satellite.
For DN, you need to make sure that channel 200 is there. If you go to that channel and leave it there for a minute, the guide will auto populate for up to 24 hours. This process is much faster than "Receive Guide" method. For B3V, you need to make sure that channel 2212 is there. If you go to that channel and leave it there for a minute, the guide will auto populate for up to 24 hours. This process is much faster than "Receive Guide" method.
