Friday, September 15, 2006 - 23:43 GMT There is a pre programmed list of channels for all satellites in the box (by the factory). The list includes all on air channel at that time. You may realize that channels keep changing, addind and subtracting every now and then. Now when you Blind scan, all channels as of today come up on screen, while auto scan brings up only those channels which were pre-set at the time of programming by the factory....I hope it clarifies the question...
