Monday, September 04, 2006 - 20:07 GMT I have 2 12" type r subs powered by a directed 1100d amp in my convertible mustang, they are in a tiny sealed box, im thinking of putting the type r's im my girlfriends 02 mustang hardtop because it has more room for the right box, if i put 1 type x 12" in the right box will it hit as hard and loud as my two r's???

Monday, September 04, 2006 - 20:22 GMT i'd look into a mag or a rl-s. your amp won't give the 3512 the power it really needs.

Tuesday, September 05, 2006 - 00:12 GMT yes 1 type X in a nicely built ported box will get louder then 2 type r's in small sealed enclosures. As far as there being louder for the money of a X the answer is absolutely. There are a few good suggestions ^^ I personally like the audioque idea
