I have a Sharp LC/15S1E T.V. which I take caravanning. The voltage is reduced to 12V 2.7amp 32watts through an AC Adaptor.Quite often there isn't a mains hook up, so I use the T.V. just using the T.V. off the 12 volt battery. However the battery is about 13.8 volts when it is charged up. It has worked O.K. for some time but recently it wouldn't fire up. It was still under guarantee and the Sharp engineer sorted it out. When asked about the problem he said the T.V. would shut down if it received to high a voltage, and he'd just reset it. He didn't recomend using the T.V. from the battery, or an Invertor. The T.V. is now out of guarantee. I would like to use it and am going to lower the voltage to closer to 12v to try and avoid this problem. However, if it should shut down again I would like to know how to reset it. Can anyone, please help?
