cause like jexx said, all the files you download from itunes are "protected" files, and it makes it so that you can only burn those protected songs like 7 times or something like that and you cannot change those files at all. ....i think its stupid but whatever, but if you do what i said you can either import them as mp3 files or imort them, then select the ones you want to change, then right click and click convert songs to mp3 or somethin like that
