I got a 2002 Ford explorer w/ factory sub and I need the color codes so I can install 2 more subs to my factory cd player. Please help ........Thanks...Shawn
Not a good idea, the factory amp for the sub is rated to put out a very low amount of power, also adding subs will either destroy it (because of the low impedance if you wire in parallel) or impede its power output (from wiring them in series).
It's never a good idea to add mismatched subs to an amp, anyway.
At least once it's fried, you would have good reason to get a nice one.
I want to add another amp and 2 subs. I am having trouble getting a signal to my amp. I am not hooking up subs to the factory amp. Sorry I didn't make myself clear.But I still need the color codes to left and right rear also the sub out. Thanks.....Shawn
