I bought a new Viewsat VS2000 extreme and have downloaded the bin file on the desk top.Can some one kindly help me as to how to put the file from the computer to the viewsat receiver? Also what else do I have to do. Will appreciate your help.

once you have it, use your upload the bin you saved on your desktop and click WRITE BIN (assuming you have the correct cable that connect your computer/laptop to your pansat receiver)
My fiance is a property manager and has access to receivers left behind by tennants. I have been selling on Ebay but some asked if the cards are looped or have a valid ATR.
Is there a devise that will tell me that? I don't want to change anything just answer there questions?
You connect the receiver with the card to the tv, go to the menu and it will tell you the rev. of the card and the car is not looped. If the card is looped, you don't see the menu screen.
