I just replaced my old TV with a new Sharp 32U-S60 from Sam's Club. We have a Panasonic surround sound system, a digital cable box and a VCR also. The TV does not have Audio Out, so I am stumped how to hear the TV through the DVD surround sound now like we used to with our old TV to watch HBO movies, etc. Can anyone help with ideas how to remedy this? We're thinking go through the VCR or Cable box, but have hit a brick wall big time....
Use the audio out from your cable box to your receiver. You only need the video going to your TV. Since you have an external speaker package you don't need the TV's.
I have exactly the same problem except that I do not have a cable box. The signal is coming direcly from the antenna connector. Is there a way to pick up the sound directly from the antenna connector, or is it by any chance possible to have a sound output from one of the SCART ?
