Silver Member Username: HockeyknightPost Number: 183 Registered: Apr-06 | i just dont wanna spend the $$ on a new amp |

Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 1199 Registered: Feb-06 | http://www.soundsplinter.com/ the l7 will be louder, but the rl-p will get loud and sound alot better. |
Silver Member Username: HockeyknightPost Number: 186 Registered: Apr-06 | how bout 1 15" type-r??? |
Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 1204 Registered: Feb-06 | i've had 12" r's and their good, but after hearing a rl-p i'd rather have them. |
Silver Member Username: HockeyknightPost Number: 187 Registered: Apr-06 | so 1 15" rl-p would be louder and sound better than a 15" type r (if they were both getting 600 rms)????? |
Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 1207 Registered: Feb-06 | based on the 12"s of each i heard, yes. |
Silver Member Username: HockeyknightPost Number: 188 Registered: Apr-06 | like a lot louder or just a little??? right now i have 1 old 12" type r and its almost blown and i want somthing a lot louder but that still has the sq. u think the rl-p would do the trick?? |
Silver Member Username: HockeyknightPost Number: 189 Registered: Apr-06 | or how bour the rl-p compaird to the a arsenal |
Gold Member Username: Chaunb3400Huntsville, Alabama U.S. Post Number: 8313 Registered: Jul-05 | i would take the rlp ova both a arsenal and type r... also adam nothing in that same power range will be alot louder....sound doesnt work like that |
Silver Member Username: HockeyknightPost Number: 193 Registered: Apr-06 | haha true thanks fer the help |
Silver Member Username: TheweaselSteamboat springs, Colorado U.S. of A Post Number: 583 Registered: Mar-06 | with the amp you've got get the rl-p, it gets louder than an arsenal with that power. if you had 800w or more i would say the arsenal. although the 15" rl-p that's ported we have demoing on the floor at my shop didn't sound too great to me. in the ported box it sounds kinda loose and it rolls from note to note. it sounds much better sealed imo. also, i think that the arsenal might have a little more volume on the low bass and the rl-p will be better at medium and high frequencies. but with the power, the rl-p might have better lowz than an arsenal with 600w rms.(hope that was understandable.) |
