Silver Member Username: MakmillionUnited States Post Number: 106 Registered: Apr-06 | 1.0 Farad is the matched cap for up to 1000 watts, .5 is for up to 500 watts. Your amp is probably pushing more than 500 being as it's a JL, so get a 1.0 to be safe and don't skimp on a cheap Pyle branded cap, get a good name you can trust. One thing, though.. with only 500 watts you aren't likely to need a cap. But, if you choose to purchase one.. get a FARAD cap and not a CARBON cap. Good luck! |
