I have 2 in-car video monitors that have a voltage limitation of 12v +/- 15%. The problem that arises is below say 11.5 it won't turn on, and if above say 13.8 it shuts off. Additionally, when the car is parked, the display is clear, but when the car is running I see some "distortion" in the background.
Is there some type of simple voltage regulator that will help or can anyone suggest what I need to do to get the voltage to regulate at these tight parameters? The power consumption is <10W per monitor.
