Bronze Member Username: Crayola0Wisconsin Post Number: 60 Registered: Jun-06 | will the amp power them enough? |
Silver Member Username: Sw9152Michigan Post Number: 861 Registered: Feb-06 | yeah the amp would power them good enough |
Gold Member Username: JuliobSanto DomingoDominican Re... Post Number: 1193 Registered: Dec-05 | get those subs if you want but get a hifonics 1206d, i don't like the idea of soundstream with those subs, that amp you posted might be good for mids/highs |
Bronze Member Username: Crayola0Wisconsin Post Number: 62 Registered: Jun-06 | What other two channel amps would be good for about the same price as that soundstream. but not on ebay. |
Bronze Member Username: Scorpionzero454Post Number: 32 Registered: Jun-06 | You should get the memphis power reference 1000.1 it goes for 329 on woofersetc.com Then you can run your dual 4 ohm subs at one ohm, and that amp has plenty of power |
Bronze Member Username: Scorpionzero454Post Number: 33 Registered: Jun-06 | And by the way Memphis is the best and two m315's would be very loud |
Bronze Member Username: Crayola0Wisconsin Post Number: 64 Registered: Jun-06 | What enclosures do u recomend for these? |
Gold Member Username: Chaunb3400Huntsville, Alabama U.S. Post Number: 7969 Registered: Jul-05 | not worth the money |
Silver Member Username: FrkkevinDenton, Texas US Post Number: 202 Registered: Nov-05 | Better off going with one good 15" for that price.. Sell ya a 15" RE SX for $240.. you pay shipping which would prolly run $40-$50 depending on where it goes.. |
Bronze Member Username: Crayola0Wisconsin Post Number: 65 Registered: Jun-06 | What do u mean a good 15". Memphis is a good brand. Ive heard them and i think the sound awsome. |
Bronze Member Username: Scorpionzero454Post Number: 34 Registered: Jun-06 | memphis is better, these kids are just hooked on their stupid treos and re sx whatever the hell they are |
Bronze Member Username: Scorpionzero454Post Number: 35 Registered: Jun-06 | sealed or ported? |
Bronze Member Username: Scorpionzero454Post Number: 36 Registered: Jun-06 | car or truck? |
Bronze Member Username: Crayola0Wisconsin Post Number: 66 Registered: Jun-06 | ported. for a 1998 dodge durango with the 3rd row seats folded down so ill have plenty room. the memphis website says the optimum space would be 3.5 cu tuned to 35hz with the port 15.5"x1.75"x17". Should i just do it that way. Then i know all the dimensions. |

Bronze Member Username: Scorpionzero454Post Number: 40 Registered: Jun-06 | well make your own, and rockfordfosgate.com has a box calculator for dimensions and airspace, so use it if you have to |
Silver Member Username: FrkkevinDenton, Texas US Post Number: 203 Registered: Nov-05 | Can't help were stuck on quality subs that last and outperform |
Silver Member Username: GangstafertJacksonville, Florida USA Post Number: 262 Registered: May-06 | ryan, if you actually heard a treo or an re sx you would be giving the same advice. No one here is going to make the decision for him we are just offering advice, and like chauncey said for that money he could get alot better/louder subs. |
Bronze Member Username: Crayola0Wisconsin Post Number: 70 Registered: Jun-06 | What subs could i get without using ebay. |
Bronze Member Username: Crayola0Wisconsin Post Number: 74 Registered: Jun-06 | Since your subs can "outlast" and "outperform". for the same price as the M3's. |
Bronze Member Username: Crayola0Wisconsin Post Number: 75 Registered: Jun-06 | And i dont want to hear 15" Arsenal. Or Kicker. |
Silver Member Username: FrkkevinDenton, Texas US Post Number: 208 Registered: Nov-05 | W/e... I don't need to argue my case. Get what you think sounds good. Sooner or later you'll hear better that was cheaper and you will realize you made a mistake. Apparantly you are hooked on Memphis.. so there is no point in advising you to get any other sub.. From my experience the few Memphis I've heard got decently loud but did not have great SQ.. but then again, so do Audiobahn.. Lol. |
Bronze Member Username: Crayola0Wisconsin Post Number: 77 Registered: Jun-06 | What Subs do u recomend? |
Silver Member Username: GangstafertJacksonville, Florida USA Post Number: 264 Registered: May-06 | and that arsenal you dont wanna hear will kick that memhis's @ss, but like kevin said dont ask for advice if your not going to take it... |
Silver Member Username: FrkkevinDenton, Texas US Post Number: 210 Registered: Nov-05 | Diamond, RE, Eclispe, Ascendant, Adire, DD, ect.. |
Silver Member Username: HalterPaulding, Ohio Post Number: 115 Registered: Oct-05 | Memphis mojo..and "outlast" a mojo u can take apart and for 15 bucks have a brand new sub... I know guys who hooked There memphis mojo too wall sockets and blew them then next day they were pounding again with the same sub!! I recommend memphis |
Gold Member Username: JuliobSanto DomingoDominican Re... Post Number: 1250 Registered: Dec-05 | Ryan, stop writing please, you guys need to think, we're telling what is best for you and you get angry, try to learn and then in the future you can give advices properly. Memphis is good, but you can get better, think about that |
Bronze Member Username: Scorpionzero454Post Number: 47 Registered: Jun-06 | who makes these apx's and, if you ever heard a good memphis sub or if you've ever had a memphis amp then you might realize just how good memphis is, and until you have a 18" memphis lvs sub which will put out more spl than a apx anyday and still have the sq of a jl then stop bashing on memphis, i doubt you even have a car let alone a system |
Bronze Member Username: Crayola0Wisconsin Post Number: 80 Registered: Jun-06 | Ryan I LOVE U!!!!! lol |
Bronze Member Username: Crayola0Wisconsin Post Number: 81 Registered: Jun-06 | FAUCK THE M3!! IM GETTING THE 15" MOJO. |
Gold Member Username: Alex_fNear lexington, Ky Us Post Number: 1132 Registered: Nov-05 | http://www.atomicspeakers.com/apx_apxx18.html like a memphis could handle a 30,000 watt burp.......please. im not saying their not bad, but atomic is better |
Silver Member Username: GangstafertJacksonville, Florida USA Post Number: 269 Registered: May-06 | Those subs named above would destroy your memphis. I think it would probably grow legs and run away, far far away, to a place where people like you who know nothing about car audio would think its the best sub in the world. Oh yeah, i have two cars. |
