Picked up my Bryston 2B yesterday. I was disappointed that my dealer had no speakers for me to demo it through, on account of renovations and no inventory.
took it home and it is seriously impressive, even through my old gear. I didn't think my old PSB Centuries had anything more to give but they sure did...
I'm going to look for Totems now. I think it might be a good pairing.
I'm not disappointed in my decision to go for expensive power and keep the NAD. My NAD 705 will cover as a pre amp for now and new towers should give me some depth that I'm missing with bookshelves.
Putting Bryston amplification behind any good speakers could never be a bad thing. If you like the sound of the Nad, you will get nothing but the source reproduced. Oh, plus a bigass mid bass kick in the pants! Goooood.
