I guess all the really nasty posts are a result. I have found that when someone is used to free and it is taken away, they really get mad. It has become a "right", and you've really promised them that they will always have it. What is funny, the "right" to DN is for those who pay. Now I have posted how I feel about DTV and DN owning most of the sky, but truth is, they bought and paid for it. Whether it should have been sold is another question. The question here is whether a group used to getting for free the equivalent of a 100 dollar service every month free should be angry with others when they are stopped. The 100 dollars is just a round number, it doesn't take in all the ppv, or the adult channels. If you have watched free tv for even two months, chances are you have gotten back all you have invested into the equipment. But going from free for it all, to 30 dollars for 60 channels is a big shock. I said all this to say, the people on here that I have seen post the non informative, whiney, juvenile statements sound like my old uncle Ralph when he quit smoking. He was really addicted, but was forced to quit. He was awful for quite a while, but eventually he got better.I suspect the same will happen here. Either you will start smoking again, or the withdrawal symptoms will begin to fade. Here's hoping everyone starts feeling better soon. |
