Gold Member Username: Dustin3Tigard, Or U.S. Post Number: 1943 Registered: Oct-05 | you cant chage a DVC 4 ohm sub to a 2 ohm sub. because the 4 ohm sub can be wired to a 2 or 8 ohm load and the DVC 2 ohm sub can be wired to a 1 or 4 ohm load. you cant just chage the impedences. only how they are wired. if you wanted diff ohm sub, you need to exchage it. and the 12" type r will work with some amp but not alot of good quality amps. the first one that comes to mind would be a pheonix gold xenon 600.1 which can accept a 1-4 ohm load with that sub you need an amp that does 500 + @ 2 ohms |
