Weird problem

I have 2 parabolics; one points to 110 and the other points to 119. I have a device which joins together different signals with 5 ports that I plug in the 110 and 119 (port 1 and 2). The problem is that I loose the signal for 119, it works on the roof with a very small coax, but in my living room (with a 15 m coax) I just get one red bar for the 119. 110 works fine.

I thought it was a bad coax and I bought a new one but the problem still remains...Any suggestions?

Ben,
try to check your port setting in your receiver.
It wouldn't hurt to check your settings in your antenna setting .

Ben, what kind of switch are you using? What receiver do you have? This kind of problem i think is due to incorrect switch settings, or even a deffective switch, but not knowing what receiver you have I can't help you much.

I'm using a ViewSat Extreme receiver. I have the correct ports (1 and 2) set up in the installation menu. I even tried to hook up 119 with port 3 without success. Yes I'm also beginning to suspect that the switch might be the problem.
