Please help! 98 toyota avalon factory cd player spits out every disc inserted

hi all,
i have a 98 avalon with type 3 audio system that keeps on spiting out every disc i inserted. i tried the cd lens cleaner but no use because it just spits it right out. does anyone know how to fix this problem. thanks in advance.
