Although all channels are back, some channels freeze after few seconds. the picture will not come back until the channel is changed or power is cycled. But some channels are good. I know that the Satcruisers use the STMicroelectronics STi5518 CPU which has a clock rate of 81 MHz. I understand that the new fix would work best on CPUs with clock speed of over 150 MHz. But if that is true then I should not be able to watch any TV. But that's not the case, I can watch CNN channel 200 for hours but CNN Headline News freezes.
I have the same problem when I move from one satellite to another, this is because of a poor multiswitch behaviour, I guess, that what my satellite guy told me.

Thanks guys for all your effort. I got my DISH working after uploading the new software, but still my BEV is not working. Whats up with that? Do I need new keys??
R3X and R3R are two different models, you can not use the R3X on the R3R at least thats what the skyfiles site says. For some reason the satcruiser folks do not like to use forums to pass info to the users, thats way Al7bar.com is dropping satcruiser from thir support lineup. I don't know, maybe they think thier product is supperior that they do not need the P.R. support. I do think that the satcrusier is a good box it finds all the KEYs by itself. But I got to admit their user support sucks.
New software F56 for R3X and R3R is now available New software for Satcruisers and Starcruisers 9000 is now available on skyfiles.net, it is version F56 (fixes freezing problem with F55). The site has both R3R and R3X software. Both tested and working.
downloaded 272 its a bin file I have a connecting line from laptop to 2700a pansat I cant open bin and do not know how to transfer to the 2700a from the laptop please anyone help

Now I'm looking for a software that will allow me to create more than one favorite channels list. like one for Arabic and one for others. Also do you guys recieve aljazeera and LBC? I can't seem to get those channels.
Hey, Pannu its working but BEV freezes (mainly news channels) for some time. Whay is that? Dish is working fine for me. Is this happening with other users too? I have SatCruiser 101+ .
Said, there is no new keys, goto skyfile.net, look, you will see that there is a new software dated June 12th. Depending on type of software version you have R3X or R3R, download your bin file.
WEll i dont know bout BEV because i dont BEV right now , i only watch DN, but may be they fix it too!! they came out with june 12 update , try that Justin. May b that helps

u have to understand that keys r still same and bin is changed and There is huge difference in BIN and KEYS!!!
EPG means extended programming guide, wenever i update it , it get stucks at 0% although its not that important for me, its updated for three days already!!
But to have guide for more days is added advantage!!
ok LF just download the new bin from skyfiles dot net, follow instructions, and it will automatically put the keys, u dont have to worry bout anything!!

Question, I download and loaded both files from there and looked like everything loaded correctly, then i went and added my disc switch for both birds. THen i did a blind ch search and when it finished it said too touch any key to continue but no remote buttons work and it goes back to the Installation menu and no channels exist. Back too start again and nothing.
I also noticed that there are 3 settings for disc switch settings, I have 6.8 on splitter #1 and 7 on #2 but now there are so many different choices and not sure what i should be set too disable and if PORTS are the same as ......

Second you have the setting listed as defaults I am running a splitter so i have both 6.8 and 7 both running. Which should i be changin ... Diseqc Mode or Multidsh switch or Disqc 1.2 (definetly not)
I tried you instructions pannu and i get the same results
1. Turn the receiver off and connect the cable to the computer 2. Run LEMON_XP software loader 3. Click on COM1:115200 several times until it changes to COM1:57600 4. Click on the OPEN icon 5. Select new software file (new bin file) 6. Click on Start Down 7. You will see a message "Reboot your STB". Click OK. 8. Turn the receiver ON. You should see a progress bar. Wait until the software is loaded completely. You should see the text GOOD on the front panel and the receiver may reboot and show 0000. If the text shows FAIL then you downloaded the wrong software.
II. Loading the keys file
Follow the exact procedure as described above but when you open the file, select the KEYS file
Now that the helping part is out of the way, are you guys noticing that some channels are going dark?? like some PPV and VOD pluse some other less important channels.
Yes I still do have some channels blacked out, and like I posted before, for some reason all my LBNs are locked on 119. This seams to happen every few days. So when this happens I do lose some channels. But when 110 Echo locks on 110, 119 Echo 7 locks on 119 and 148 Echo locks on 148 everything works fine. I have no Idea why this happens. I do not touch the dishes in any way.

Well, 110 and 148 are back, they are locked now and I'm back to getting everything again, the 30++ PPV channels, 10 VOD channels and all the other HBO,STARZ, Etc. and I think I know what the problem is, maybe. I still do have DN boxes connected to the LBNs. So I think there is some kind of interference between the FTA and the DN boxes to which can control the DISEQCs. I'm gona do some testing and I'll let you guys know what the deal is.
I have a clone Pansat 2500, so I am fimliar with this, I have one dish which I move either way, bev or dish net, so its all good.
my question is whether i can use my Sat Cruiser DSR-101 Ace to view them. My friend gave this receiver to me, and I would love to be able to bev or dish net.
The issue at hand is whether that is possible or not. Are there any bin's for this receiver.
P.S: It had a sticker on it saying plus, and it was covering the ace..so I'm assuming they did that to trick people into buying it i guess...
goto skyfiles dot net download bin R3R or R3X wen u download it in receiver it wud say gud, so either one of the bins wud say gud in receiver's screen after u download bin in receiver and yes it is gud for BEV and DN
GUYS I M LOSING CHANNELS, 4 SOUTH ASIAN CHANNELS ARE GONE, WATS GOING ON!! IS IT ANOTHER ECM?? AND ALL OTHER RECEIVERS ARE LOSING IT TOO!! LETS HOPE FOR THE BEST!!
I just reupdated my firmware, and it doesn't seem that my keys are rolling on my receiver. I did a channel search, and I get all the channels but there's no tv! Oh btw I'm using bev.
While waiting for DN, I need help on receiving BEV for Satcruiser 101+PLUS. I have never been able to receive BEV channels. One time it shows all channels without TV but now I can not even find the channels. Any kind suggestions??????? THANKS!!!!
