Silver Member Username: Andysd03Post Number: 226 Registered: Jan-06 | you are all idiots only one person should of ordered 1 first cause when amazon sees the very LARGE orders received for one item they are gona be a bit curious about it should of waited until one person got an x then ordered 6 of them not rightaway too many people ordering would make them suspecious plus they wont have that many in stock to keep up they prob have to send out 20 rightnow lol.type e or x theres prob no way they have 20 in stock. it says type X is 39 pounds and it says on the other type X is 35 pounds 35 is prob a type E lol a type X 12 would be heavy man. And type X and aresonal id def choose the type X! |
Gold Member Username: Dustin3Tigard, Or U.S. Post Number: 1923 Registered: Oct-05 | how are you guys buyin from car toys on this link http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009DXOU6 it says it from amazon. does amazon partner up with other companies? |
Gold Member Username: BlainewPost Number: 1255 Registered: Nov-05 | yes amazon parteners withh car toys and andy, a type E isnt 35 pounds, thats definatly the weight of a type X |
Gold Member Username: Kd7nfrMontpelier, ID United States Post Number: 1653 Registered: Apr-05 | Yea, Type-E's are tiny, not over 20lbs. |
Silver Member Username: KillswitchjdPost Number: 215 Registered: Apr-06 | mine weigh 32 pounds each, is that a type x's weight? |
Silver Member Username: KillswitchjdPost Number: 216 Registered: Apr-06 | is that what each one weighs for everyone else>? |
Gold Member Username: BlainewPost Number: 1257 Registered: Nov-05 | nate....how do you know it weighs 32 pounds? |
Silver Member Username: KillswitchjdPost Number: 217 Registered: Apr-06 | i think they are e's, because I have two packages coming for the order, 32 pounds each, which means four subs weighing roughly 16 lbs each. this is gonna be a hastle to return them... |

Silver Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 908 Registered: Feb-06 | "And type X and aresonal id def choose the type X!" that's funny, you must hate anything but sq, cause an arsenal is way better than an x. have you ever even heard an arsenal? |
Gold Member Username: Kd7nfrMontpelier, ID United States Post Number: 1655 Registered: Apr-05 | Well, I'm attempting to cancel my order before they ship it! |
Gold Member Username: BlainewPost Number: 1262 Registered: Nov-05 | hahah i know oh my god i cant believe this |
Silver Member Username: Andysd03Post Number: 228 Registered: Jan-06 | arsenal is way overrated personaly i think just like the W7 is nothin matter with type X some guy on this forum said he heard both and that there was really no differnece between the 2 but the X did sound a bit better and id agree people like the arsonal because its so cheap is why they think its soo good! |
Silver Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 910 Registered: Feb-06 | i've actually heard both and i would take the arsenal over the x anyday. sq is there with better spl. and the x is way overpriced for the performance you get. the only reason the arsenal is so much cheaper is because aa doesn't use a middle man, which cuts down the price the consumer has to pay. |
Silver Member Username: Andysd03Post Number: 229 Registered: Jan-06 | well when u guys get your type E's complain to them dont send them back until after u complained. Tell them they had false advertising and u want an type X or your gona take them to court over false advertising they would get kinda scared and prob send u one |
Silver Member Username: Andysd03Post Number: 230 Registered: Jan-06 | and when your ordering $800 worth of E's u could of goten 4 type X's for that price theres $200 on Ebay brand new |
Gold Member Username: Chaunb3400Huntsville, Alabama U.S. Post Number: 7902 Registered: Jul-05 | wow..lol...all u guys posted today.lol and i agree with ctmike....type x's are not worth it..i would rather have a arsenal...or a whole lot more subs for that matter...lol...at least 20 more subs...lol |
Silver Member Username: Andysd03Post Number: 231 Registered: Jan-06 | screw u guys you are dumb RE over ALpine? no h*ell in way Alpine is many more years in makin then RE and shut up chancey u always go on threads ruining them i know u hate alpine but wont admit it every thread that has alpine in it u say RE is better when u know that type X is better just afraid to admit cause your so in love with RE AUDIO id never go with RE!! |

Gold Member Username: BlainewPost Number: 1263 Registered: Nov-05 | andy....RE is better |
Gold Member Username: BlainewPost Number: 1264 Registered: Nov-05 | i would go with RE audio over alpine... |
Silver Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 912 Registered: Feb-06 | "no h*ell in way Alpine is many more years in makin then RE" you can tell how much you know, arsenal is made by ascendant audio, not re! and just because alpine has been around longer doesn't mean sh!t. look at pioneer, they've been out forever and their subs aint worth sh!t either. and i'm saying this as a former alpine owner, and can honestly say of all their subs the r is the only one worth the money. |
Silver Member Username: QuigPittsburgh, Pa Us Post Number: 175 Registered: Sep-05 | where are you finding the shipping weight? where do you go. |
Gold Member Username: BlainewPost Number: 1265 Registered: Nov-05 | the X is worth the 90 bucks! |
Silver Member Username: KillswitchjdPost Number: 221 Registered: Apr-06 | why do you get the x and i probably have the e's? |
Silver Member Username: Andysd03Post Number: 233 Registered: Jan-06 | then JL isnt best people think JL audio is the best because its ben around for so long ive heard it before so your tellin me JL isnt good but i know u dont think that u prob think its the best because its many years in the makin even though its way overpriced... |

Silver Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 914 Registered: Feb-06 | "then JL isnt best people think JL audio is the best because its ben around for so long" people don't think it's the best cause of how long it's been out, it's becuase they make quality products. not saying jl is the absolute best, but far superior than alpine. and for the price of a x you can get a w6, which the msrp is actually cheaper, and the w6 is alot better. so i suggest just cause you were dumb enough to blow your money on a x, don't be going round telling everybody the x is the best cause it's not. |
Silver Member Username: DannyboyyPeterborough, NH USA Post Number: 152 Registered: Jun-06 | nah my friend bought one from tweeter and had them build a box to the woofers specs, and for some reason, when he cranked it the bass sounded a bit funny, i cant figure it out, but something is def wierd. |

Silver Member Username: Andysd03Post Number: 236 Registered: Jan-06 | was it powered properly if it had full power drivin to it then u can say it sounded bad and do u got a good 5V deck cause if u got a bad deck then that would make the sub not sound good to i agree Jl would prob sound like that ut u cant really say unless u had a good deck and the proper amp and if it still sounds like that then u can say |

Silver Member Username: GangstafertJacksonville, Florida USA Post Number: 222 Registered: May-06 | "ROFL me too bassman i knew they werent gonna get type x's lmao these people are easy targets for scams LOL THIS WHOLE THREAD IS HILARIOUS" We new that amazon being the big business that they are that the worst that would happen was that we would get our refund and thats what happened. We were not scamed. We saw an error that the site made and tried to make the best of it an had cartoys had the x's in stock it would have worked. If anybody was going to be scamed it was them, but now we get our money back so nothing is hurt. People keep coming on this thread saying i told you so. When its not a big deal nothing was hurt. |
