Can you run three single voice coil subs on a mono amp ? It'd have to be 1 ohm stable, think it be 1.34 ohms....

thanks

what amp would you suggest thats one ohm stable and inexpensive to push 3 10" ascendant audio assassians. Needs to be one ohm stable, b/c wired at 1.34 ohms. Last question, it says rec power 200 watts yet rms is 350 i thought rms was the rec power. what should I run to each woffer thanks again

hifonics go look sonicelectronix.com and look for a hifonics amp

ok bro if ur hookin 3 assasin ull need a hifonics bxi1206d

heres the link
http://sonicelectronix.com/item_6522.html

if im 100% sure your assasin are like 300 rms but because they are ascendant audio they can handle more so 400 rms to each assasin will be alot better and sound better too

that hifonics amp is 1200 rms at 1 ohm so u will be gettin around 700 so each woofer will have around 230 watts it will be underpowering them

so get the bx16005d

are hifonics amps that over rated. I was under the impression that they put out pretty much what they said. And it will be ran at 1.34 ohm so more towards 1 ohm and less toward 2 ohm. And it says 900 watts at two ohms. So i should get say 1000 watts 333 apice... i could definetly be wrong thou

A little confused
thanks for the help

hifonics puts out something like 70-75% of what they state. i'd either look into a hifonic, kicker 1200.1, or pg xenon.

just get a kx1200.1 or zx1500.1, the subs ohms ratings are usally off by a little like it says svc 4ohm it really is 3.5 ohms, but then you have to figure in box rise, thats where when the sub is in a box, when its playing certain hz's, its impedance (ohm level) will go up so really the amp will see a higher ohm, so if you can afford it i'd get a zx1500.1 that give each sub about 450-500wrms which would make them pound.

the hifonics are overated if u dont have the chargin system and a hifonics balance driver

if u have the chargin system ull get 85%-95% of its power.

kicker for me is a waste of money but they are good underated amps, and weell built but they are expensive and phoenix gold is a must buy amp they are legendary not overated and good quiality i suggest get a bx1600d because its overated ull get around 1450 rms at 1 ohm and it will be better for your assaisn

why dont you get an Amp that will put out the same power @ 1 and 2 OHMS?
