Hey all, I'm doing a self-install of a DEH-P7800MP in my 1998 chevy Tahoe, but someone told me I need to bypass the stock amplifier in order to get the best sound. Can someone tell me where this is located, or if I even have to do so? Thanks.

i ahve the 1997 gmc truck but their prety much teh same and mine dont have a stock amp.
