Hi all,

I downloaded the latest bin about 1 week ago and everything was working fine until about 3 days ago, when some channels started disappearing with message "Scrambled or bad channel". Most importantly ESPN2 which has the WorldCup games.

I did a blind scan but that didn't seem to fix it!

I am watching the games in some Spanish channel and since I don't speak spanish, I am not understanding much of the commentating ;)

Is there something else I can do to get my lost channels back?

Thanks

Did you delete your old channel list before doing blind scan?

Mo, some of my channels stopped working too, but when I turned the receiver off from the back of it for about 5 seconds and turned it back on the scrambled channels started working again. Try it, it may work.

Gene, do you need read a little, search a little, you receiver need a new bin, go to dss**tester.com pansat area and download the right bin for your receiver, in dss search for loader and download the loader for run the bin. Unzipped both files. For ALL Pansats....

Things you will need!
1.A computer with a com port!
2.The right cable to connect to your computer to your receiver!
3.The most recently LOADER
4.New pansat bin!..
5.LNB setup and the right switch!
6.Sat Signal at 70 percent or higher!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----
1.Power down receiver and computer!
2.Connect receiver to computer and power both of them up!
3.Start up gtrom newest version and select the new bin file you wish to upload then click download wait until it is finished it will go to a 100 percent but it is not finish until it displays burn complete or finished!
4.Turn off power to receiver and computer and remove the cable from the receiver!
5.Install cable from the lnb and the cable from the tv and the plug it up and power up the receiver!
6.Using your remote hit menu and the parent control then ok in second pin enter 0000 and then ok!
7.Then set default key..EMU-ON then ok!
8.Go to Nagavision2 then ok and check 00 and 01 keys. Put in new keys if need then hit ok to save!
9.Now installation then ok antenna setup then ok make sure you have 110 and 119 and check to make sure the switch is set right for both on the diseqc setting! If 110 is on 1 and 119 is on 2, set diseqc the same way!
10.Now go to blind scan and hit ok!
11.When finished exit menu and watch tv

Thanks for hijacking the post guys!!!

Lucas, the power-off and back on did work, thank you very much, but they go scrambled about 5 minutes later!!! Any idea what is happening?

Mikey Lee, I thought about removing all the channels and doing a rescan, but I am worried that I will lose some of the channels that are showing me the WorldCup games right now, so I will wait until after the WorldCup to do something drastic like that ;) lol... But definately I am going to do that because this is not normal.

For the short period of the world cup, any suggestions as to what I can do to resolve the scrambled channels, or should I just keep powering off and on?

Thanks as always.
