Does anyone have an explanation of wiring? I would really love to be able to know what something is wired to off the top of my head w/o looking at a diagram. If anyone could explain in lamens terms, or have a good site to explain, please post. <3

there really isnt a good explanation. because theres series and parallel, and half and half. so many different wiring configs, you just have to remember them. i have the rockford diagram site as one of my favorites, and i just look at it so much, i remember most of it.

basics:

1 4 ohm sub = 2 or 8 ohm load on amp
1 2 ohm sub = 1 or 4 ohm load on amp

2 4 ohm subs = 1 or 4 ohm load on amp
2 2 ohm subs = 2 or 8 ohm load on amp
