I get a signal running it through the component and my TV get a signal from my HD cable box via HDMI so I cannot figure out what the problem might be. Has anyone else had this same issue with either this TV or DVD Player? |

If your TV is not, then you will have serious problems running HD-DVD and Blue Ray players through HDMI (both players are speculated to only run HD material through HDMI as well). I will look around and let you know what I can find. This may not be the case at all, but it's a place to start. If anyone has more knowledge, please feel free to correct me. JU1CYFRU1T |

Toshiba's tech support was basically worthless. I spoke to three different people and I could tell they were just given a sheet with basic Q&A responses. I did find out that the DVD player has a version 1.1 HDMI and the TV has a version 1.2 HDMI but I read that HDMI is suppose to be backwards compatible. |
