Would a 6.5 jl w0 work for midbass rearfill?

I was looking at some cdt midbasses and come across the jl 6.5's would they work for rearfill midbass with the crossovers set correctly?

didn't I reply to this....no it won't isnce the JL 6W0 doesn't have much above 200hz. I like to have a midbass driver extend to around 500hz. 6Wo is best around 200hz and down.

6W0's as rear midbass(60-200 Hz):

They're not really used as "fill" in this case. The 5 1/4" MB Quart Q's are crossed over at 200 Hz @ 6 dB/oct and the subs at 60. You'd also need to build an enclosure as the 6w0's aren't designed for free air operation.

It really depends on what you have up front for components. I didn't want to make any extreme alterations to my doors nor had the room for kick panels so was limited to mid-bass lacking 5 1/4's. If I'd had some decent 6 1/2's up front I wouldn't have bothered with the rears.
