I have a pantec 2500 and I loaded the 277t with BL1.4. I tried loading a channel list as the channels were all over the place. But when I tried to load the list I lost my channels and had to rescan!! What am I doing wrong? Answers anyone??
once you download the channels, either through a blind scan or channel list, press "sat" on your remote, then scroll down to echostar package and hit ok twice. By doing so, you will have the channel #s organized as if you were charlie's subscriber..
Thanks dafee. Just to get this right at the moment I have loaded everything i.e bin, channel list etc. Now do I blind scan and hit sat ( I have 2 sats 110 and 119 ) and press ok twice??- will try that and see what happens.
you need either a channel list or do a blind scan on both sats.... not both.
advantage of a channel list is that it is much faster.., however, by blindscanning both sats, you will load those channels to your receiver, that were not on the channel list... ie your local channels. if you do both you will have double channels, and you dont want that.. if you already have double channels, it would be a good idea to delete all channels and load the channel list/blind scan again..
Hi daffee, I tried your method - it worked!! I blindscanned as I wasn't too sure about my CL but I have now lost ESPN2 and that was what I reall wanted any ideas on how to get it back- it's world cup time
