This is an easy one. Load up PFL (Pansat Factory Loader 2.1,0,0). Type "key:global" (no quotes) into STB Model.....U can use any pansat loader U want... Get Pansat factory bin 222 or 224 ready to download. Turn the receiver on and click download after you see the first green light, (if that doesn't work, start again clicking download at the 2nd green light, if that doesn't work, start again clicking download at the 3rd green light). This should crack the receiver and download would begin. (Also works for anyone trying to flash the stubborn 2700a receiver for the first time).
hey LK. i read and read almost all your posts. but there is a problem i am facing, i have a pansat2500a. i downloaded 277.bin. when i hook up the receiver to the tv. there is a "black out". seems like the receiver did not like the file. i then flashed it with the original bin, it worked fine. i got my channels back. but ofcourse, the bin is not right, so i flashed it agian with 277. and i am still facing the same "black out" problem. any help or suggestion LK?.. thanks. in advance.
Lada, There should be a COM1 on your computer, except if your internal modem used COM1 already. Right click on "My Computer" on your destop. When the "System Properties window" popup, select the hardware Tab -> device manager -> expand the "Port" which contains the COM & LPT. As I mentioned above if the COM1 used by modem then you have to right click on COM3 and verify the property of that COM (verify the Device status if it's OK). If everything is OK you should able to Upload the BIN into your receiver either COM3 or COM1 (most of the case is COM1). If there is NO COM1 on your PC (must be weird) then perform an ADD Hardware and select install from selected List (COM) and add the COM?? port on your PC whenever the system allows the COM. Sometime system reserves the COM1 or COM3 for modem (modem on my LT default to COM3). BTW, most PC system has the LPT1. Check you PC hardware carefully so we can help further.
thien cang... thank you alot! But I do not have in Device status COM3.Ther are Port(COM & LPT): Communications Port(COM1) ECP Printer Port (LPT), and in Port Setting for LPT there are LPT1.LPT2,LPT3. I do not understund what is that mean?
