My BU 1.4 wont load bin PLEASE HELP

i have a ps2500a and am trying to load a 277t bin. I tried all COM1, COM2, COM3 and COM4. every time it tells me "WRITE FAILED (ER1). I connect everything first than select the bin and as soon as i turn on receiver i press Write bin. Someone tell me what im doing wrong please

Do you loaded before a bin file to you pansat 2500 with the same cable? 277t its for clon pansat.

no i havent my friend did it for me but im using a serial port cable with one side male and other female so i bought a little converter that converts male to female so i have to females on bith sides

I mean the cable its not doing the right function for your receiver update. But you can download the loaders at dss**tester.com search loader. Lucky

there is a list of loaders but they are all for different receivers i need the one for cloned ps2500a from fortec lifetime ultra

If you turn off your receiver from power outlet and you receive the same message, do not there is communication between receiver/pc. Do you need change the cable.

i just unplugged the receiver and tried it without haveing on the receiver and still i receive same message. do i need a cable replacement if so where can i find one and the name of it. thank you for all your quick replies

bane j, u need a "Straight through" cable and try using BL loader 1.3. It works fine. Cables can be found in Bestbuy/Futureshop/Staples/Radioshack/Circuit City.

Its a rs232 straight cable with DB9 female ends..Do not get the "NULL modem" cable which looks identical!

i found a cable at compusa i dont know if its the right one (Pro Series Serial Direct Cable, Gray, 6 feet, DB9 Female to DB9 Female) i have a cloned pansat 2500a
