I guess it is not programmed for DISNETWORK. If I need to programm for DISHNETWORK to get all the PPV channel...can you please tell me how to do it. Do I need to install new software to program the receiver like new bin etc...if so can yo please tell me where and how can I download the software. Thanks in advance |

Bronze Member Username: Al_bundyPost Number: 13 Registered: May-06 | 1st off i am using the 146 bin the newer ones have a few bugs so i choose to use the 146. 1. Plug in the receiver, check and see that the switch on back is off. 2. Connect the null modem cable to the receiver and Com1 port of your computer. (Use Com2 if not Com1 is not available). 3. Load the Bin in the Downloader from the new created folder. after it is loaded turn switch on reciever, as soon as you see the green light hit click "Download" button 4. wait until the "Download Completed!!" display. Watch the LED on the receiver, it should reboot itself, wait until the "ON" display. 5. You are done with the software update. ********************************************* if you want to load a channel list leave cable plugged in . turn reciever off from the front so clock shows and load channel list. wait for reboot and switch off from rear then remove cable. swtch on from rear and set your antenna settings 119= disqec 1 and 110(6,8) is disqec 2. if using a dish pro twin lnb (no diseqc switch needed) clear out of menu, hit channel 8282 and choose set default keys( or set them yourself under Nagra 2)exit out go to "user set up" set the time the date year . when you set the time set the -4:00 for east coast time. ********************************************* if no channel list then 6. go to menu antenna settings scroll down the list of sats to echo 7(119) click "ok a check mark should appear next to the highlighted sat. and then scroll to diseqc settings set echo7(119) to 1 hit exit. scroll to echo 6,8(110) and set it to diseqc 2 hit exit. exit out to antenna menu scroll down to blind scan choose your sat (i scan echo 6,8=110 first). **if you have a dish pro lnb choose "vertical" under the polarity,** If Legacy leave it as all then go to scan choose "all" hit ok. it will scan the sat let it go to 100 % then do the same for echo 7(119). exit out after scan go to user set up ,set the time, the day the year. hit ok exit out to tv on the remote hit the SAT button scroll to "echostar package' hit ok hit ok go watch tv. |

New member Username: TdoalamoPost Number: 1 Registered: May-06 | Hi, I am a newbee for pansat 2700 also. just flashing the bin to receiver, setup atena and sattelite dish but I got 'UNLOCK' display on the screen 'Level' & 'quality'. even I changed the direction of the dish but I never got 1% of the signal quality. Please help me on this I had an old direct TV with one LNB dish. Thanks |
