Silver Member Username: Troy81Tavernier, Fl Us Post Number: 225 Registered: Mar-06 | would geting bigger speaker wire make any difference in the amount of watts runnng? i checked the ohms at where the wire plug into my amp(the wire unplugged from the amp) and it was 1.5 so im guessing that means im not losing any in the wire, im running radioshack cheapo wire, and im lookin for sound so any help would be nice thanks.i would guess its about 16 gauge |

Silver Member Username: Sw9152Michigan Post Number: 710 Registered: Feb-06 | 16 gauge should be plenty big. look more into the power wire and upgrading the alt for more sound. also the box is a big part of how your sub will sound and even which way it is pointed can effect the sound. |
