Cost me a pretty penny though but is rediculously powerful.....took me about 2 hrs to retune my system....
so heres the story....i got it and as soon as i got home hooked it up with the input sensitivity on MAX!!!!!........well u know the rest....i nearly blew my sub to sh!t...i heard the coil hit the back of the magnet and all kinda shiz..
well anyhow i was smart enough to back down the gain to 0 ZERO!!! and then it was good enough for me to start tuning....
my amp takes from .15-8v and right now its set on 8v with the pre amp gain on ZERO!!!! ...power for years.....
im using an ipod,the preamp boosts any signal up to 16v rms whether u believe it or not,i know that because my amp takes up to 8v rms and it couldnt take the preamp,it was distorting and clipping so badly that the output voltage could not have been anywhere near 8 volts
