Simple wiring question

The intended impedance was 1 ohm, so my question is: with the setup in the included picture(which is how it was in my car), what is the impedance?? I aware of what 1ohm is and how to wire subs to get 1ohm, I just wanted to know if it was possible to wire the subs like the diagram I showed in the original attachment http://img135.imageshack.us/my.php?image=easy2followdaigram1yw.jpg I have attached yet another diagram that makes it very clear what I'm trying to ask. both d4 subs are wired parallel and each sub is connected to a terminal cup; from each terminal cup runs a two part speaker wire to the amp (the wires are labeled as green and red on the diagram); from one cup, both ends of the speaker wire terminate to one negative terminal on the amp; from the other cup, both ends of the speaker wire terminate to one positive terminal on the amp I want to know if this setup's final impedance is 1ohm (the reason both positive and negative terminals are not being used is because two of them are missing screws, thus I'm only using two terminals) |
