If you were to port a box from the rear of the sub, would that most likely increase the SPL? Or would it do more harm than good to the sub and sound itself?
if im understand your question ive wondered that too. im thinking the reverse waves going stright out the box without bouncing off anything might be bad???
I dont know much about building box's but I am pretty shure that as long as you give the port enuff length you should be good. But there is not much need to do that if you are not going to seperate the front from the rear.
