New member Username: Renegade4evaPost Number: 1 Registered: Apr-06 | hey guys, i just bought an SWR 1241D 12" sub, my first time trying to set up a system. i dunno what amp will be the best sound. specs 300W RMS 1000W peak. 4+4 ohms. dual i keep on seeing peeps saying u can turn this into 2ohms, but i can't work out how, any help or suggestions will be great. tanks |

An option for you is that I have an Alpine MRD-M500 sitting around, 500W, if need be... but you can give them more than that and they will love it. |

Silver Member Username: LbecknerTulsa, Ok Usa Post Number: 923 Registered: Oct-04 | yeah, you need an amp that can be wired down to two ohm, not one ohm. If you get one thats 1 ohm stable then u will need a 600 watt amp to get 300 watts. |
