I have a Dual 601 that is in excellent shape save for the intermittent lack of tone arm return at the end of a record. Regardless of how I start the record, manually or with the start switch, I can never predict when the tonearm will return after play or simply stall and repeatedly lift/set down on the record label (ouch!).
Does anyone know a fix? I'm an electronics-capable engineer, but can't find any resources on the problem. Bring it on and thanks for the tips.
