I bought a cd/radio from a junk yard, which came out of a 2001 Cavalier. I am trying to replace a radio in my 2001 Cavalier. It worked great while the key was turned to AC, but when I started the car, the radio locked. Is there anyway to unlock it without taking it to a dealer?
The wrong radio code has been entered too many times. You must leave the radio powered up for at least an hour and then press buttons 2&3 at the same time and you should get a four digit #.
