The topics are timely but the info in the first article is simply misleading and false. It is the EDTV vs HDTV article. An ED TV displays SD signals much better than an HD TV. Nobody debates this. The article leads you to believe that spending more oney on an HD TV makes it somehow better than or equal to an ED TV as far as PQ across all sources and resolutions. This is far from the truth.
