I just installed a new system in my 98 camry and when i removed the radio i noticed that it said Fujitsu Ten on the sticker by the seriel #. Thought this was interesting.
Its basically a tape/radio player with CD changer capability as a add on.
Anyone know if all the stock recievers on toyotas are made by Fujitsu Ten ?
yes, eclispe is owned by three companies, denso, fujitsu ten and toyota. and from that all toyota and lexus models are "eclipse" head units. Now you may ask, what's the deal with the JBL and the Mark levinson system in the higher end models? and the answer to that question is that eclispe still makes the stuff, while they collaborate with those companies for their bigger name appeal, and their pre set EQ's.
