Hey, be nice to Marshall he can't help it! You can still get some SQ out of a ported box, and the fact that the RE's do not perform well in a sealed box is known by most, lol (I do stress most ). Polo.

lol...come to think about it, it has been a LONG time since i built a sealed box.
some RE subs do like sealed boxes...RE's, SE's, and (2005) XXX's perform well in them. Most RE subs just like ported a lil better
---and by the way...SX's and MT's DO NOT like sealed boxes---
lol polo i didnt mean anything negative by it lol. i think he knows that. hmm i just got a thought in my head... ive never heard a setup with a PR. does it really work (move air) like a ported without losing any punchieness? because you dont even have to add volume to the enclosure for them. i want to get a BA g5 10 and a gtr10 PR for my dad one day. so hopefully i will get to hear one.
